Today we would like to tell you a little more about Camelina Oil, its benefits for dogs, its omegas and vitamins... As you know, camelina is the basis of our food supplements and cosmetics.

We make natural supplements for dogs, with a high content of in Omega 3, Omega 6, Omega 9and natural antioxidants, vitamins, beta-carotene, DHA... With virgin camelina oil, exclusive plant extracts and algae.

Doxel was born when we realised that there were no supplements on the market that were natural, without additives, preservatives or colourings, and, moreover, with a profile suitable for those dogs with many allergies.

Because we know how important our dogs' food is for their health, we do not create a simple oil rich in Omega 3, as would be a fish oil, for example salmon oil, which is produced with fish obtained, generally, through extractive fishing, and a refining process is used (with high temperatures and chemicals) to try to eliminate the heavy metals it contains, always leaving heavy metals in it.

The oils that we use in Doxel are only first cold pressed oilsWe use only mechanical processes, thus guaranteeing that the maximum quality and minimum alteration of the product. As we were saying, we are not only Omega 3, but speaking of Omegas we are the ideal balance between Omega 3:6:9 and Omega 3:6:9.

Salmon oil does not contain Omega 9 (which has great anti-inflammatory properties), nor phytosterols and its cholesterol content is very high (20 times higher than Camelina oil). Not to mention the bad breath caused by fish oil, which you can avoid with Doxel.

The benefits of Doxel omegas

Omega-3s are found in high proportions in some plant sources such as camelina seeds, and in the tissues and fats of certain fish (e.g. salmon).

Fish oil usually has an Omega 3 content of 20% (EPA and DHA) and 12% of Omega 6. Whereas our Camelina oil has Omega 3 levels of 35% (ALA) and 15-20% of Omega 6, so the Omega 3 / Omega 6 ratio is better.

In other words, Camelina oil contains a unique and balanced balance of Omega 3,6,9. It has 35% of Omega 3, 20% of Omega 6 and 35% of Omega 9.
